Schedule:

Monday Friday
6:00 AM 2:30 PM (8 10 hour shifts)
Minimum 40 hours/week (schedule may vary based on business needs)

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers to support local (intrastate) deliveries within Texas. This role involves operating a manual transmission truck with a 48-foot trailer completing multiple daily routes and assisting with loading/unloading using a forklift.

This is a great opportunity for a professional driver who values consistency safety and steady local routes (home daily).

Key Responsibilities

Perform local (intrastate) deliveries within Texas
Complete approximately 2 trips per day
Safely operate manual transmission trucks with 48 trailers
Load and unload materials using a sit-down forklift
Inspect vehicles before and after trips (DVIR compliance)
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Required Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL license
5 years of experience operating manual transmission trucks with 48 trailers
3 years of sit-down forklift experience
Clean driving record and strong safety history
Ability to work 8 10 hour shifts and adapt to schedule changes
Strong reliability and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with local delivery routes (intrastate)
Warehouse or material handling experience
Familiarity with logistics or distribution environments

Work Environment

Combination of driving and warehouse/loading activities
Exposure to outdoor conditions and warehouse environments
PPE required as needed
