We are searching for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources Teambased in Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department
- Support employee relations processes including attendance meetings and follow-up documentation
- Review and process immigration and employment documentation including confirmation and internal offer letters
- Prepare employee correspondence (coaching warning and approved leave letters)
- Assist with bargaining support orientation preparation and engagement initiatives
- Maintain HR tracking tools and compile monthly reports using Excel and Power BI
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement collaboration and accountability you bring:
- 1 to 3 years with a focus on Human Resources.
- College Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience in human resources administration within a unionized environment.
- Have a knowledge and ability to use computers and information technology to improve efficiency.
- Ability to plan and carry out work according to pre-set objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 356 Suite.
- Ability to meet or exceed service needs and expectation and to provide excellent service in a direct and indirect manner.
- Strong personal skills such as time management and organizational skills critical thinking effective oral and written communication.
