Job Overview

A reputable organization within the real estate and property development industry is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and provide strategic financial direction to the business. The company operates in investment-driven property development and asset management requiring strong financial governance structured planning and sustainable growth strategies. The Finance Manager will oversee the companys financial administrative and operational functions to ensure alignment with the organizations mission and long-term strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO the role involves advising senior leadership on financial performance risk management business planning and strategic decision-making.

This position requires a seasoned finance professional capable of leading teams strengthening internal controls ensuring regulatory compliance and driving financial efficiency while supporting expansion and profitability.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial policies systems and procedures to strengthen internal controls and governance.
Lead the budgeting process financial planning and cash flow management.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Directors to optimize business performance.
Oversee accounting and finance teams ensuring operational efficiency and accountability.
Ensure safeguarding of company assets and compliance with internationally accepted accounting standards and Ghanaian regulations.
Oversee monthly quarterly and annual closings including preparation of accurate financial statements management reports tax filings and audit coordination.
Supervise accounts payable accounts receivable payroll treasury tax and management accounting functions.
Develop long-term financial and business plans based on financial data and performance analysis.
Oversee implementation and effective utilization of financial systems and reporting tools.
Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA ACCA CMA ICA (Ghana) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in accounting and finance with significant leadership exposure.
Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS) and Ghanaian tax regulations.
Proven experience in financial strategy reporting compliance and team leadership.
