Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial policies systems and procedures to strengthen internal controls and governance.
Lead the budgeting process financial planning and cash flow management.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Directors to optimize business performance.
Oversee accounting and finance teams ensuring operational efficiency and accountability.
Ensure safeguarding of company assets and compliance with internationally accepted accounting standards and Ghanaian regulations.
Oversee monthly quarterly and annual closings including preparation of accurate financial statements management reports tax filings and audit coordination.
Supervise accounts payable accounts receivable payroll treasury tax and management accounting functions.
Develop long-term financial and business plans based on financial data and performance analysis.
Oversee implementation and effective utilization of financial systems and reporting tools.
Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA ACCA CMA ICA (Ghana) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in accounting and finance with significant leadership exposure.
Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS) and Ghanaian tax regulations.
Proven experience in financial strategy reporting compliance and team leadership.
