Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist for one of our manufacturing clients based in Akron OH location to support precision machining operations.

Shifts : 1st and 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure tolerance compliance
Troubleshoot basic tooling machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime
Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work instructions
Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work area
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC operation and basic programming
Valid forklift certification
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot tooling and machining issues
Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers calipers and gauges
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Solid math and computer skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing lifting bending and repetitive motion
Strong communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
