Manulife HK is seeking a seasoned business development professional in supporting the Bancassurance business. The individual is expected to be highly motivated and result driven; possesses strong track record on building relationship driving sales and value proposition to deliver exceptional partnership with our designated banking partner.

Position Responsibilities:

  • work closely with the Banks sales team to formulate build develop implement and monitor the business and resource plan for retail business.

  • Develop and drive business initiatives to achieve business goals

  • Provide information to frontline such as insights on sales market news product knowledge and common practice to ensure they align with our strategies provide continuous improvement in quality and sales results.

  • Take full ownership of sales communication initiatives including weekly briefing external engagements and specialized workshops. This encompasses end-to-end preparation from crafting the agenda and gathering insight to structuring narratives and presentations to audience.

  • Assist in managing new insurance application through working with UW case management and New Business teams.

  • Assist in implementing customer centric propositions need-based selling strategies for the banks customer segments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the Hong Kong life insurance industry.

  • Experience in frontline role of Retail Banking is preferred.

  • Strong storytelling ability is a must.

  • Familiarizes with and good knowledge of the industrys best practices and market competitive environment and competitive edges of markets products.

  • Self-motivated attention to details and able to work under pressure.

  • Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Different product propositions internal and external marketing sales skills training sales tools are essential.

  • Innovative one-stop-shop services with seamless process to support business growth.
