We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofManager - Business Management.

In this role you will:

  • Provide support in forecasting budgeting and monthly financial control and reporting for both costs and headcount.
  • Working closely with the Governance and Control team to ensure all change resources set up correctly and booking time in clarity and following up and resolving any discrepancies.
  • As needed support Sr. Management in people development and wellbeing activities and contribute the development and execution of the GWT&P people strategy.
  • Input data for all expense claims through e-Expenses FUSION system. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and close links to other Global functions to ensure well informed perspectives on best practices.
  • Experience and expertise in building interactive excel dashboards and presentations on short notice with accuracy and smart design that conveys the right message to a senior audience. Present documentation in a clear and articulate manner; tailoring the content to the audience.
  • Ability to convert detailed messages into succinct slides for executive consumption. Experience in handling the AMH and Continental Europe markets. Expertise in Headcount Management and FTE reporting.
  • Demonstrate good governance and control in line with Group policies ensuring appropriate governance is developed to inform the progress of strategic initiatives.
  • Support the continuing development implementation and improvement of the COO processes structures capabilities capacity and infrastructure needed to deliver agreed plans and targets collaborating with colleagues to maximise cost visibility optimisation and strategy.
  • Maintain a robust control environment through the adherence to internal controls procedures record keeping and the timely implementation of issues or audit / regulatory recommendations.
  • Initiate and/or undertake activities ensuring that risks / issues are escalated and reported through governance. Ensure that operational risks are fully assessed prior to the execution of a delivery escalating where required.

To be successful you will:

  • Minimum Graduate in any discipline (preferably Commerce background)
  • Sound understanding of HSBC structures processes and objectives across the Group.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel PowerPoint. SharePoint workflows is essential..
  • Good analytical skills capacity to process complex information and synthesise key themes and issues.
  • Able to maintain discretion confidentiality and handle confidential information.
  • Experience working with Fusion and POs
  • Experience working with MS Office tools (Ppt Excel etc) (Essential)
  • Project management skills.
