Job Summary
Posting Description:
As an experienced investment banking professional you will develop strong relationships with corporate and financial institution clients and work across multiple products. You will execute deals across the spectrum of our banking offerings including mergers and acquisitions divestitures restructurings loans and equity and debt capital raises. This role sits within the Technology Media and Telecom (TMT) banking team in Hong Kong.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with senior bankers to originate structure and execute financing and advisory transactions across M&A IPOs bonds loans and structured products.
- Develop compelling content for marketing and execution materials.
- Build financial models and perform detailed valuation analyses for pitches and live projects.
- Interact with senior team members and client management teams to execute transactions and identify and manage risks throughout the deal cycle.
- Guide review and coordinate the analytical work of junior bankers to advance marketing and execution processes.
- Liaise with internal and external parties on transactions (e.g. lawyers accountants counterparties).
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior bankers and research analysts.
- Lead client negotiations the Q&A process and management presentations/interviews.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Finance Economics or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 1 year of front-office investment banking experience
- Fluency in Korean to liaise with Korean-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong accounting finance quantitative and business-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong understanding of the transaction cycle and steps in the execution process; execution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
