Business Development Manager

To support finding new work for both the Tetris and PDS business to assist in selling our offerings in Cape Town to the wider market. Identify new avenues to generate revenue widen our footprint within Cape Town South Africa. Build further relations within the industry and enhance our sales.

Role Overview:

We require a dynamic business developer to drive growth for both Tetris DxB (Design and Build) and Project and Development Services. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with commercial real estate brokers landlords and developers while identifying and securing new business opportunities across our design construction and project development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present Tetris and PDS capabilities through compelling proposals presentations and demonstrations that showcase our integrated design build and project management solutions.
  • Monitor market trends competitive landscape and industry developments to inform business strategy providing market feedback to leadership regarding client needs pricing strategies and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with design construction and project management teams to develop accurate project proposals and timelines.
  • Ensure smooth handoff of new clients to delivery teams while maintaining ongoing client relationships throughout project execution.

Years of Experience:

  • 5-8 years of business development experience in commercial real estate construction or professional services. Previous experience specifically with design-build projects or project management services would be highly valued.

Education Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Construction Management Real Estate or related field.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation capabilities
  • Experience developing and presenting compelling business proposals
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • CRM software proficiency

Industry Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate market dynamics
  • Knowledge of design-build processes and construction methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management principles and timelines
  • Understanding of landlord-tenant relationships and brokerage operations

Relationship Building:

  • Established network within commercial real estate brokers landlords or developers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Collaborative approach with internal teams
