The Senior Business Process Analyst leads complex crossfunctional process analysis and optimisation initiatives that materially improve organisational performance. This role operates at both strategic and operational levels shaping enterprisewide process standards enabling business transformation and mentoring lessexperienced analysts.
The role is technologyagnostic and focuses on driving business outcomes through effective process design governance and continuous improvement regardless of systems or tools.
Responsibilities
Strategic Process Leadership
- Lead endtoend process assessments across multiple business domains.
- Align process improvement initiatives with organizational strategy operating models and value streams.
- Advise senior stakeholders on process impacts tradeoffs and prioritisation.
- Identify systemic issues and opportunities that span teams functions or business units.
Advanced Process Analysis & Design
- Own the development of complex asis and tobe process architectures.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify performance gaps and root causes.
- Define highquality scalable and sustainable process designs.
- Ensure consistency across processes while allowing for justified local variation.
Process Improvement & Transformation
- Lead highimpact process improvement and optimisation initiatives.
- Develop and justify business cases for improvement initiatives with measurable benefits.
- Guide the organisation through major process changes linked to transformation restructuring or growth.
- Support benefits tracking and performance optimisation postimplementation.
Stakeholder Influence & Facilitation
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and functional heads.
- Facilitate complex seniorlevel workshops to resolve crossfunctional process issues.
- Influence decisionmaking without direct authority through evidencebased insight.
- Manage competing priorities and stakeholder perspectives effectively.
Process Governance & Standards Ownership
- Define maintain and enforce enterprise process standards and modelling conventions.
- Support process ownership frameworks and decision rights.
- Ensure processes meet governance compliance risk and control requirements.
- Maintain oversight of critical processes and key dependencies.
Performance Measurement & Insight
- Define and embed process KPIs and performance frameworks.
- Analyse trends and performance data to provide strategic insights.
- Report on process health improvement outcomes and risks to leadership.
- Support prioritisation of the process improvement portfolio.
Skills
- Experience working in transformation programmes or enterprise change initiatives
- Strong understanding of operating models governance and organizational design

Qualifications
- Matric and a Degree in Business Management Industrial Engineering IT or related field
- Professional certifications or formal training in:

- Business Analysis or Change Management
- Minimum 10 years experience
