Job Summary
Were hiring a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) on behalf of one of our Clients. They are seeking a seasoned BSA a who enjoys collaborating across Agile teams translating complex needs into clear solutions and shaping the digital future of a large mission-driven organisation.
This role will suit an IT Professional who can confidently step into a senior-level BSA role and help drive improvements across critical systems. Youll work closely with Product Owners Developers Testers and internal stakeholders to define requirements support solution design and guide implementation. This is an environment that values structured thinking continuous refinement and meaningful outcomes for users.

- Translate business needs into clear user stories with acceptance criteria and system specifications
- Refine and maintain a backlog of ready-to-develop requirements in close partnership with product owners
- Collaborate with Developers and Testers to design practical scalable solutions
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies and help teams stay aligned with user needs
- Support test planning and UAT making sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Identify process improvements and explore how systems can better serve users
- Maintain diagrams data flow documentation and solution records
- Keep an eye on trends that could shape smarter more modern implementations
Requirements:
- Either a degree (NQF 7) with 5 years relevant experience or a diploma (NQF 6) with at least 8 years in business systems analysis
- Strong experience in Agile environments particularly working in or with Scrum teams
- The ability to map out complex business processes and define actionable requirements
- Comfort with system integrations including API-based approaches and cloud platforms
- Previous exposure to higher education environments would be a bonus
- A mindset that blends analysis planning collaboration and delivery
