Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Dialysis RN with strong outpatient/chronic dialysis background and Charge Nurse experience. The RN must be capable of independently managing a 4:1 patient assignment and overseeing operations for up to 21 stations when functioning as Charge.
Candidate must be comfortable floating across all dialysis locations as needed.
Schedule
3x12-Hour Shifts
Shift Window: 5:30 AM 10:30 PM (based on department needs)
Requested Schedule: MondayFriday 5:30 AM 6:00 PM (days vary based on staffing)
Rotating Saturdays
Occasional Sundays due to holidays
Floating Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dialysis care for outpatient/chronic patients.
Independently manage a 4:1 patient assignment.
Serve as Charge Nurse for a 21-station dialysis unit when assigned.
Perform setup and stringing of Fresenius dialysis machines.
Monitor patients before during and after dialysis treatments.
Administer medications and manage treatment plans per provider orders.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Support team coordination and workflow efficiency within the dialysis unit.
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (NY State).
BLS Certification (required).
Charge Nurse experience (required).
Outpatient/Chronic Dialysis experience (required).
Experience managing Fresenius dialysis machines.
Ability to manage 4:1 patient assignments independently.
