Job Summary
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours weekly
Duration: 8-week assignment
Start: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Primary Care Office phone triage role. The RN will primarily manage incoming patient calls assess symptoms provide clinical guidance and coordinate care.
Occasionally the nurse may assist with rooming patients or administering injections. The ideal candidate is organized clinically strong and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Responsibilities Perform telephone triage and symptom assessment
Provide clinical advice and care coordination
Escalate urgent patient concerns appropriately
Document all encounters in MEDITECH
Assist with patient rooming as needed
Administer injections when required
Support providers and clinic workflow
Maintain high standards of patient communication and care
Minimum 2 years RN experience
Active RN license (state appropriate)
BLS required
MEDITECH experience required
Strong phone triage and communication skills
Ability to work independently in outpatient setting
