Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry skills and be comfortable managing cardiac drips and floating as needed. First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive MS/Telemetry nursing care
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
Administer Cardizem and insulin drips (hyperglycemia only not DKA)
Manage Phenobarbital patients on telemetry
Complete Advanced Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of acceptance
Document accurately in EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Float to designated units or facilities as needed
Maintain patient safety and quality standards

Requirements

Minimum 2 years acute care MS/Tele experience required
MS/Tele experience required
Travel experience required (strong first-time travelers considered)
Active NH or Compact RN license required at submission
AHA BLS ACLS and NIHSS required
Advanced Dysrhythmia exam required within 72 hours of acceptance
Skills checklist matching specialty required
NURSYS verification required for all RN licenses
Cerner experience preferred but not required
Drivers license must match demographics
RTO must be included at submission
