Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Acute Care RN for a weekend-only position caring for adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have stepdown or telemetry experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment with a 6:1 ratio.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
Administer medications and IV therapies
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure patient safety and quality care standards
Manage patient assignments with a 6:1 ratio

Requirements

1 2 years step-down or telemetry experience required
BLS ACLS NIHSS required
Experience with Paragon and Pyxis required
Ability to work weekend-only 12-hour day shifts
Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills
