We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Emergency Department caring for patients across the lifespan from newborn to geriatric. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric exposure trauma experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced ED environment.

This unit manages a wide variety of critical diagnoses including stroke sepsis trauma myocardial infarction cardiac arrest and respiratory failure.

2 Triage
40 Acute
6 Super Track
2 Trauma
10 CDU
6 Psych
Patient Population: Newborn Pediatrics Adults Geriatric
Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor Arctic Sun
EMR: EPIC
Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Responsibilities

Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments
Manage high-acuity emergency cases
Provide care for pediatric and adult populations
Respond to trauma and critical care situations
Administer IV medications and blood products
Operate specialty ED equipment
Document accurately in EPIC
Float to other units as required
Function in Charge role when needed (highly preferred)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Submission Requirements

Updated resume with 2 years ED experience
Pediatric experience required
Documented travel experience
Skills checklist matching specialty
Drivers license matching demographics
NURSYS report with active NY RN license and all licenses
RTO must be included at submission

Certifications Required

Active New York RN License
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
AHA PALS
NIHSS
TNCC

Preferred
