Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Operating Room Registered Nurse to support a high-acuity surgical team. The ideal candidate will have strong intraoperative experience and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced OR environment caring for adult cardiac patients.

Responsibilities

Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiothoracic procedures
Maintain sterile field and ensure OR safety standards
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and surgical team
Document care accurately in EPIC
Support medication management using Omnicell
Float as needed based on census

Requirements

Minimum 1 year CTOR/OR nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates degree minimum)
Active New York RN license required
ACLS and BLS required
Ability to work variable day shifts
Strong adult cardiac surgery experience preferred
