Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our Technology this role you will support and develop our server and virtualization infrastructure work with modern automation tools and collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure the reliability and continuity of our systems. If you enjoy handson technical work exploring new technologies and contributing to a dynamic environment - this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Dell server hardware using iDRAC 9 and Dell OpenManage.
- Manage and optimize the virtual environment based mainly on Proxmox.
- Implement and maintain automation tools such as Ansible Terraform Cloudinit and PowerShell.
- Monitor systems proactively and respond effectively to incidents.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure continuous system operations.
- Ensure reliable connectivity in cooperation with the Network Engineer.
- Conduct market research on available technologies and industry trends.
- Evaluate and compare hardware and software solutions including handson testing.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry advancements and best practices.
- Maintain awareness of electrical and infrastructure requirements for server solutions including highdensity and AIfocused environments.
Qualifications :
- Approximately 3 years of experience as a System Administrator SysOps or DevOps.
- Experience in physical server administration particularly with Dell hardware and iDRAC 9.
- Strong practical knowledge of Proxmox virtualization.
- Familiarity with VMware (considered an asset).
- Deep practical knowledge of Linux administration (preferably Ubuntu).
- Familiarity with Windows Server (asset).
- Solid experience with automation tools: Ansible Terraform Cloudinit PowerShell.
- Good organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Readiness for occasional business trips.
- Organizational and mentoring abilities.
- Good spoken and written English
- Knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid mode from the Krakow office.
