The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering structured and engaging lessons in performance and composition
Supporting pupils with coursework listening skills and exam preparation
Leading extracurricular ensembles clubs or choirs
Contributing to concerts productions and community events
Monitoring attainment and implementing strategies to improve progress
Working collaboratively within a supportive Performing Arts team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or related discipline
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong classroom management and rehearsal leadership skills
A commitment to raising standards and promoting creativity
A proactive and collaborative mindset
