What youll do
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
Sales Leadership: Drive capital equipment sales within the assigned region focusing on Enduron High Pressure Grinding Rolls Enduron Optimil and integrated future-ready flowsheet solutions. Lead marketing sales and strategic initiatives to expand market presence.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong multi-level relationships with customers engineering firms consultants contractors and asset owners in the mining and minerals processing sectors. Act as the primary interface between customers and commercial teams locally and overseas.
Market Analysis & Business Development: Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and support quotation processes in collaboration with technical teams. Translate customer inquiries into viable technology solutions.
Sales Cycle & Contract Negotiations: Manage the sales cycle end-to-end including contract negotiations ensuring successful deal closures and market share growth.
Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with Weir Minerals India management and sales network. Maintain accurate reporting through CRM updates call reports market plans and personal business plans.
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to customer sites.
What youll bring
Must-haves:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mining Engineering or Mineral Processing.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably in capital equipment or mining industry.
Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.
Proven ability to build customer relationships and secure deals with a goal-oriented persistent and professional approach.
Nice-to-haves:
Background in mining or mineral processing industry.
Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
Ability to mentor and develop sales skills in a growing team environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
