We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Sydney New South Wales. This permanent full-time role is pivotal in managing insurance projects from inception to completion ensuring accurate scoping of works cost estimation and effective project management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations and contribute to our organisations overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Review of site assessment scopes and provide estimation of domestic and rural properties claims.
- Work closely with the Assessors to understand scope documentation and project requirements.
- Assist with financial tracking and reporting across active projects.
- Contribute to pricing reviews budgets and post-works analysis.
- Utilise our estimating systems and digital platforms
- Maintain clear records and ensure documentation aligns with contractual and internal standards.
- Capable of understanding the NCC BCA Regulator Legislation and its practical application to claims management.
- Oversee and monitor the Mk3 Group repair portfolio to ensure economic and efficient repair operations.
What we are looking for
- The ideal candidate for this position will have had prior Insurance Building Estimating experience willingness and capability to perform in a Desktop position
- Willingness to travel to rural locations to supervise and inspect works.
- Construction Coordination or Construction Estimating experience outside of insurance is also relevant especially within the remedial strata or residential building space and rural locations
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined organised approach.
- Willingness to learn take initiative and grow responsibility over time
