We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to support the delivery of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as part of a global multiphase implementation this role you will lead the end-to-end delivery of testing and deployment for one of the programs key streams working closely with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage the test phase and deployment readiness activities.
  • Coordinate delivery across internal Cochlear development teams and external vendors ensuring alignment with other project streams.
  • Ensure project integration with the overarching S/4HANA program roadmap and timelines.
  • Maintain and report on detailed project plans schedules milestones and vendor deliverables.
  • Proactively identify risks manage issues and drive timely resolutions.
  • Communicate effectively across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Cochlear quality standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates and status reporting to program leadership.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing IT projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes; experience in medical device manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external teams across complex cross-functional and globally dispersed programs.
  • Excellent organisational leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries. (preferred)
  • Background delivering IT projects in hybrid Waterfall/Agile environments.
  • Solid test management experience and familiarity with project stage gates. (preferred).
  • Strategic thinker with strong hands-on problemsolving skills.
  • Professional project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other regulated environments (preferred).
