- Assist in the development implementation and maintenance of SHEQ policies procedures and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards non-conformities and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the preparation and submission of SHEQ reports including incident reports near-miss logs and compliance records.
- Coordinate SHEQ training programs for employees ensuring all staff are informed and compliant with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SHEQ records including permits checklists and inspection logs.
- Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents and near-misses contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during inspections and certification processes.
- Promote a strong safety culture by supporting awareness campaigns and encouraging employee engagement in SHEQ initiatives.
- Support the continuous improvement of SHEQ management systems in alignment with ISO 45001 ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the SHEQ Manager and HR team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in Health Safety Environment or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in SHEQ coordination compliance or a similar role within an industrial or operational environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 ISO 14001 and other relevant SHEQ standards.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital record-keeping systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Willingness to conduct site visits and participate in incident investigations.
