Job Summary

Conduct detailed geological fieldwork including prospecting sampling and mapping in diverse terrains across the Mutare region.
Collect analyze and interpret geological geochemical and geophysical data to identify potential mineralization zones.
Prepare comprehensive geological reports maps and technical documentation for internal and regulatory use.
Support exploration project planning and execution including the development of drilling programs and resource estimation.
Maintain accurate digital and physical records of field data samples and laboratory results.
Collaborate with engineers environmental specialists and project managers to ensure alignment with project goals and compliance requirements.
Monitor and report on site conditions geological hazards and operational risks in coordination with safety protocols.
Stay current with industry advancements regulatory changes and best practices in geological exploration and resource evaluation.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Geology Earth Sciences or a closely related field.
25 years of proven experience in geological exploration mineral resource assessment or mining-related fieldwork in a similar regional context.
Proficiency in geological mapping sample collection and data interpretation techniques.
Experience with GIS software (e.g. ArcGIS) Microsoft Office Suite and geological modeling tools (e.g. Surpac Vulcan or Leapfrog).
Strong understanding of Zimbabwes geological history rock formations and mineralization processes.
Valid drivers license and ability to work in remote field locations with limited infrastructure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Commitment to health safety and environmental compliance standards in all field and office operations.
