- Conduct routine inspections preventive maintenance and root cause analysis of plant machinery and systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and work orders using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of mechanical electrical and process equipment across production lines.
- Collaborate with operations maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and throughput.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety environmental and regulatory standards (e.g. OSHA ISO 14001 ISO 9001).
- Identify and recommend improvements in plant efficiency energy consumption and equipment reliability.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance contractors and vendors ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Prepare technical reports maintenance logs and performance metrics for management review.
- Support new equipment installations commissioning and process validation activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 25 years of progressive experience in plant maintenance operations or industrial engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems hydraulics pneumatics and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with process instrumentation control systems (e.g. PLCs) and automation technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts weekends and on-call duties as required.
