The Awards and New Business Development Lead will support the CEO Chief Resource Mobilization and Marketing Officer and other staff to ensure an efficient and effective award management and new business development to support Save the Children Philippines Organizational Strategy. To achieve the countrys program ambitions in line with SCs Global Breakthroughs the post will also be responsible for capture planning opportunity scoping and proposal development and donor engagement (SC and external).
Requirements
Essential skills knowledge or experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading assessments of funding landscapes and developing program funding strategies to meet strategic goals.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues through critical thinking analysis definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in.
- Highly developed networking skills and ability to form productive working relationships with external donor agencies.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including communicating with impact influencing negotiation and coaching.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively - aligned with donor language both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other SCP staff contributing constructively beyond the roles specific resource mobilization remit.
- Experience and/or knowledge of project management and proven history of delivering results
- A high degree of flexibility and adaptability in order to respond to changing needs. Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours in the event of major emergencies including travelling at short notice and for extended periods of time.
Desirable skills knowledge or experience
- INGO experience and an excellent grasp of operational issues.
- A detailed understanding on funding mechanisms including new financing models for development work such as Save the Childrens.
Required education and qualifications (certifications licenses accreditations etc.)
- 5 years demonstrated experience identifying and securing funding from DAC government donors multilateral agencies corporate donors and/or foundations
