Candidate will be employed by Northern Staffing and the job will be a temporary 3-month position. This person will start immediately and will work part-time through at least May 2026.
The schedule is M-F 25-30hrs. Wage will be at $26.75 per hour.
This position will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of the technology and innovation departments assisting in coordinating administrative duties managing communication channels and providing essential support to the technology and innovation team.
Essential Job Functions:
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the duties which the employee may be expected to perform. To perform this job successfully an individual must be
able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
1. Administrative Support
Assist in managing schedules appointments and meetings for the technology and
innovations departments.
Handle phone calls emails and other forms of correspondence efficiently and
professionally.
Maintain organized files contracts correspondence and documentation related to the
technology and innovation departments.
Prepare reports and presentations as required. Assist with monitoring department specific equipment inventory tracking coordinating returns and reporting to the supervisor as necessary.
Monitor department key performance metrics.
2. Coordination and Communications
Assist in the development of work processes and procedures providing feedback and
working with applicable departments to creatively increase efficiency continuous
improvement and customer satisfaction.
Ensure operational procedures and practices are well defined documented and
consistently applied.
Act as a liaison between the technology department and other departments.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies procedures and customer programs/products.
Work with Customer Service and Communications in the development of customer
communication/educational materials.
3. Technical Assistance
Maintain assigned systems keeping data current.
Provide basic technical related assistance education/training and information to both
internal staff and customers.
4. Project Assistance
Assist with the coordination and tracking of projects.
Maintain project documentation including timelines updates resource allocation.
Monitor progress and communicate to stakeholders.
5. Research and Analysis
Conduct research on emerging technology trends and telecommunication
advancements; provide insights to the department.
Process compile research and analyze data and information; prepare reports to
support decision making within the technology and innovation department.
6. Position is on site.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational requirements include an associates degree in a technology related field or equivalent. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products word-processing database and spreadsheet
software applications.
Proficient with the use of a personal computer to prepare reports maintain records search for and compile data. Thorough knowledge of office practices systems procedures and equipment including but not limited to adding machines photocopiers multi-line phone systems e-mail and internet.
Minimum 3 years experience in telecommunications preferred.
Knowledge of commercial/residential broadband acumen preferred.
