This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work directly with patients in an on-site environment within the thriving medical practice industry.
In this role you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be involved in assessing diagnosing and managing a variety of neurological conditions contributing to vital patient care initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
- Assist in critical care procedures and interventions as needed
- Participate in rounds and case discussions with the healthcare team
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in neurology and critical care
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
- Current NP or PA license in the state of practice
- Experience in critical care or neurology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Patient Volume: 8 per day 2 admissions
11-bed Neuro ICU
Must be comfortable with independent line placements
Must be board-certified
