This contract position is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals seeking to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry while working on-site.

In this role you will be integral to providing high-quality care to our patients. You will work alongside experienced surgeons and healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive vascular surgical services. This position not only supports our commitment to patient-centered care but also contributes to the operational success of our medical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the vascular surgery department
  • Assist surgeons in the operating room
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
  • Monitor and manage post-operative patients
  • Educate patients and families on vascular health
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
  • Participate in patient rounds and case discussions

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • Current NP or PA certification and licensure
  • Experience in vascular surgery or a related field preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts 2 weeks per month

No call requirement

Will primarily cover the vascular clinic

Monthly Volume: 8 surgical cases 60 cath lab procedures

Duties: Seeing new and established patients conducting evaluations and treating non-surgical cases

Support Staff: Vascular surgeon

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
