A well-established company in the injury recovery and injury-prevention space is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to service a professional sports-focused client base. Clients include school sports programmes physiotherapists chiropractors biokineticists strength & conditioning coaches and private gyms.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business and convert leads into long-term customers
- Manage and grow two distinct customer segments using tailored sales approaches
- Conduct product demonstrations in-practice training and basic staff education
- Grow existing accounts and drive repeat purchasing behaviour
- Provide quotations and close sales
- Plan and execute weekly/monthly sales routes
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide daily weekly and monthly sales reports
- Monitor competitors market trends and provide structured feedback to management
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
Competencies & Skills
- Consultative persuasive sales style with strong product and application knowledge
- Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills
- Strong planning time management and administration ability
- Self-motivated disciplined professional and able to work independently
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting targets
KPIs include: monthly sales targets (minimum 90% achievement) daily customer visits lead generation planned appointments and 100% completion of required reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
Key Requirements
- Matric (tertiary studies in sports science anatomy physiology biokinetics or physiotherapy advantageous)
- Strong understanding of human anatomy injury mechanisms rehabilitation and recovery
- Previous sales experience ideally within medical rehabilitation sports or health-related products
- Confident engaging with healthcare and sports professionals
- Proven lead generation and cold-calling experience
- Proficient in MS Word Excel and Outlook
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
Package & Remuneration
Salary: R30 000 CTC (basic petrol cellphone) plus commission bonus & incentives
