Position Summary
Sabel Systems is seeking a Summer Growth (Business Development) Intern to support opportunity research pipeline management and capture activities within a government contracting (GovCon) environment. This paid summer internship is ideal for students pursuing business finance economics marketing political science or related degrees who want hands-on exposure to how mission-focused organizations identify pursue and win new work.
Work Youll Do
As an Intern you will work closely with experienced business development and capture professionals to support opportunity tracking market research and growth initiatives while learning how strategic planning and disciplined pipeline management contribute to organizational success.

Work Youll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Assist with researching and identifying new government contracting opportunities
- Support maintenance and organization of the business development pipeline and CRM data
- Assist with tracking opportunities key milestones and follow-up actions
- Support capture and proposal teams with data gathering summaries and documentation
- Conduct market and customer research to support growth strategies
- Help prepare basic reports and dashboards to support business development planning
- Collaborate with business development capture and proposal stakeholders across the organization
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Marketing Political Science or a related field
- Strong academic record cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong research analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to synthesize information and communicate findings clearly
- Comfortable working with data spreadsheets and basic reporting tools
- Must beat least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
- Interest in government contracting federal acquisition or public sector markets
- Exposure to CRM tools opportunity tracking or market research platforms
- Coursework related to strategy sales or public sector business

Work Location & Schedule
- The 2026 Summer Internship Program runs June 1 2026 through August 7 2026 and is open to candidates located within the United States.
- This internship is fully remote and supports the Eastern Standard Time Zone with an expected commitment 40 hours per week depending on department needs.
- This internship pays $25.00 per hour.
