THE OPPORTUNITY
From operating tractors to tackling fencing projects both new builds and repairs - youll play a hands-on role in keeping the farm running smoothly
As part of our tight-knit team your days will be a mix of fencing general maintenance tractor work and occasional stock handling. While the role is primarily focused on fencing and farm upkeep there will be times youll be in the yards working with livestock.
Experience with stock is a bonus but a willingness to learn and get stuck in is just as important.

THE FARM
Located just 25 minutes south of Rotorua in the Waikite Valley Waikite Farm is a 1016 ha livestock farm that has a diverse mix of enterprises including Silver Stabilizer cattle stud and Pāmus award-winning Texel FocusPrimeTM terminal sheep studs.
ABOUT YOU
Youll bring experience in a fencing and/or a repairs and maintenance role youll also have:
A proactive and positive attitude
Confidence in planning and leading daily farm activities
Commitment to health safety and environmental standards
A current full NZ drivers licence
A willingness to work as part of a team and to lead by example
