We are currently seeking two to three experienced General Practitioners to join our supportive and collaborative team.
In this role you will provide high-quality patient-centred primary health care to a diverse student population. Working within a multidisciplinary team of doctors nurses counsellors and psychologists you will support students physical and mental wellbeing helping them navigate the unique challenges of university life.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing skilled health assessment diagnosis and treatment services in line with current best practice and professional standards
- Delivering patient-centred care that supports both physical and mental wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with nurses counsellors and other health professionals to provide integrated care
- Managing referrals documentation follow-up care and case management in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting preventative health initiatives including screening programmes vaccinations and health education
- Providing travel health advice and vaccinations where required
- Assessing aegrotat applications and providing appropriate academic health advocacy
- Building strong relationships with internal and external healthcare providers and referral agencies
The salary range for these roles is $179800 to $211500 per annum prorated depending on experience and qualifications. These are permanent positions and we are flexible with hours we welcome applications from both full-time and part-time practitioners depending on your availability.

You are a compassionate and experienced clinician who enjoys working with young adults and supporting diverse communities. You bring strong clinical judgement excellent communication skills and a calm professional approach to patient care.
You will bring:
- Registration as a medical practitioner in New Zealand with a current NZMC Practising Certificate and indemnity insurance
- Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
- At least two years experience in General Practice ideally including primary or emergency care
- Current CPR or Advanced Life Support certification
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Proven experience working with young adults and diverse communities
- Confidence using clinical systems such as MedTech or similar practice management software
Experience working within a university or student-focused health service would be an advantage but is not essential.
