Job Summary

Our client is on the lookout for a Temp Data Capturer with GAAP accounting software experience

Salary and Benefits:

US$500.00 (all inclusive)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Use of the GAAP accounting software and related hardware includes.
Capturing stock purchases into the main warehouse for the contract site.
Issuing stock for use in the two canteens at the contract site.
Running manufacturing accounting entries for meals prepared and doing variance analysis.
Accounting for meals from the manufacturing process and sales.
Accounting for ready-made foodstuffs and beverages.
Accounting for cash proceeds from cash sales as well as through swiping and EcoCash and any other mobile transfer methods run through the POS system installed at the contract site linking to bank accounts.
Doing daily cashing ups from the GAAP reports and reconciling system daily closing stock to physical stock on the ground.
Remitting to the Bookkeeper at H/O cash proceeds and other reports generated from the GAAP system at regular intervals.
Taking part in the physical stock takes at regular intervals and during month-end.
Any other duties as prescribed by the site manager the finance manager and the bookkeeper.

Key Skills:

At least 2 years work experience and having knowledge in stock control procedures.

Qualifications:

Accounting qualification.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting software is a must
Very proficient in Excel
Experience in the use of Evolution accounting software.
