Position Title: Delivery Manager

Location: Bangalore India

Description

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead a high-impact large-scale program involving multiple stakeholders contracting vendor organizations and complex deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing complex programs managing risk maintaining vendor relationships and communicating effectively with executive leadership. This role requires strong organizational skills strategic thinking and an ability to manage both tactical and strategic components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements ensure alignment and foster productive relationships.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Work closely with vendor organizations overseeing contracting service level agreements (SLAs) and performance management to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Program Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive program plans timelines and budgets. Track progress against milestones and ensure timely within-budget delivery of program components.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify assess and manage program risks. Escalate critical risks and issues to leadership while ensuring proper mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Executive Reporting: Create and deliver regular executive updates including dashboards progress summaries financial reporting and risk assessments. Present program insights and status updates to senior management and executive teams.
  • Resource Allocation & Management: Coordinate cross-functional resources manage resource constraints and balance project priorities to ensure optimal program efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Change Management: Lead the change management process for program modifications working closely with stakeholders to address impacts on scope schedule and costs.
  • Process Improvement: Implement best practices in program management continuously looking for ways to improve processes enhance transparency and optimize delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10 years in program management with experience managing large-scale complex programs involving multiple stakeholders and vendors.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Management or a related field; PMP PgMP or similar certification is preferred.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders understanding their needs and providing clear concise communication to ensure alignment.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Experience working with external vendors and contracting organizations with a strong ability to manage SLAs budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Strong experience in risk identification assessment and mitigation planning with a history of effectively managing critical program risks.
  • Executive Reporting: Proficient in creating and presenting executive-level reports with the ability to distill complex information into clear actionable insights.

Technical Skills

  • Tools: Proficient in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project JIRA or Smartsheet) and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze program data identify trends and provide data-driven insights to guide program decisions.
  • Budget Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing program budgets forecasting costs and tracking financial performance.

Soft Skills:

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align program goals with broader organizational objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on proactive issue resolution.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams build strong relationships and foster a collaborative environment.
