We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Greenwich starting ASAP. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging play-based learning activities and provide individual or small-group support to pupils. You will play an important role in helping children develop confidence independence and positive learning behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
Support the EYFS teacher with daily classroom activities
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children as required
Assist with play-based learning and structured activities
Support childrens personal social and emotional development
Help maintain a safe clean and stimulating learning environment
Observe and record childrens progress under teacher guidance
Support routines such as snack time toileting and outdoor play
Encourage positive behaviour and independence
Communicate effectively with staff and parents when appropriate
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Have experience working with young children ideally in EYFS
Be caring patient and enthusiastic
Have a good understanding of early years development
Be proactive and able to work as part of a team
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be reliable and flexible in approach
