We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon starting ASAP. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to support the planning delivery and evaluation of learning activities. You will assist children individually or in small groups providing targeted support to help them reach their full potential particularly in areas such as literacy numeracy communication and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
Support the EYFS teacher in delivering daily classroom activities
Provide 1:1 or small-group support to children as needed
Assist in planning and preparing engaging play-based learning activities
Observe and record childrens progress to support assessment and planning
Encourage positive behaviour independence and confidence in learning
Support routines such as snack time toileting and outdoor play
Promote social interaction and development of communication skills
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other support staff
Maintain a safe inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Follow safeguarding health and safety and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working with young children ideally in EYFS or nursery settings
Be patient caring and enthusiastic about early years education
Understand child development and learning styles in the early years
Be proactive adaptable and able to work as part of a team
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
