Job Title:Payroll Assistant

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Payroll Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the HR department assisting with employee relations benefits administration and day-to-day payroll tasks. This role is ideal for someone organized detail-oriented and passionate about helping employees succeed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment regulations
- Support HR initiatives and special projects as needed
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies procedures and programs
- Assist with benefits administration payroll preparation and payroll reporting
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain employee records Payroll databases and personnel files
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior payroll administrative experience is a plus
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office accounting software and databases
- Excellent organizational problem-solving project management and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Teamwork
