Description
This contract position is based in Pendleton and requires on-site work offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a vital aspect of womens health within the medical practice industry.
As a Locum NP or PA you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients ensuring their health and well-being in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Ob/Gyn department
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with medical best practices and guidelines
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Active NP or PA license in the state of practice
- Experience in Ob/Gyn preferred but not required
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call 1 week per month
Duties: IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal prenatal care natural and emergency deliveries with on-call physician postpartum care and patient education routine reproductive healthcare birth control counseling and contraceptive management and full-scope womens health services
Will assist with c-sections
Support Staff: MAs RNs
EMR: Meditech Centricity and eClinical
Must be board-certified
