As a Locum NP/PA you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive family medical care working collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare providers. This position allows you to apply your clinical skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the well-being of the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary care to patients of all ages
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing or relevant field
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Experience in Family Medicine or primary care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Schedule: Weekdays (8 to 10-hour shifts) and weekends (1p-5p)
Patient Volume: 16 per day
Patient Population: All ages
Cases: Primary care including minor surgical illness treatment urgent care etc.
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Any active unrestricted U.S. license accepted
Paid travel & expenses
