This contract on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the staffing and recruiting industry focusing on delivering top-tier healthcare professionals to meet our clients needs.

In this role you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and support within cardiology settings. You will be responsible for assessing patients developing care plans and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes. This position allows you to utilize your expertise in a meaningful way while contributing to our mission of connecting skilled professionals with rewarding opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for cardiology patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality care
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and treatment options
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide emergency care as needed and respond to patient inquiries

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current NP or PA certification in Cardiology
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Knowledge of current cardiology best practices and protocols

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage

Patient Volume: 25 per shift

Will see clinic patients round on inpatients and serve as first assist in the CVOR

Support Staff: CT surgeon

EMR: eCW

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
