Job Summary

Responsibilities

Repairs and troubleshooting of chemical processing equipment including pumps vacuum pumps chillers agitators/mixers hot oil systems ovens and other chemical processing equipment.
Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance activities on all equipment and tracks data on findings.
Performs general maintenance repairs to building and facility including replacing broken windows repairing doors door locks and closets and installing window blinds.
Completes daily weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed.
Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment.
Basic troubleshooting of PLCs and VFDs.
May repair electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security.
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures.
Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required.
May obtain estimates for supplies repair parts; orders parts as needed.

Qualifications

Must have demonstrated skill in troubleshooting repairing installing and preventative maintenance of chemical pumps vacuum pumps chillers agitators/mixers hot oil systems ovens and other chemical processing equipment.

Required Skills

Must have welding skills (ARC MIG and TIG).
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing electrical systems mechanical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to learn new skills and grow with our company as it expands.
