Job Summary
- Maintain enhance and optimize existing COBOL applications running on mainframe environments.
- Participate in the migration or modernization of legacy COBOL systems and related technologies.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of applications through code reviews testing and documentation.
- Support production systems troubleshoot issues and implement fixes in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
- Several years of professional experience in software development and maintenance with online and batch programs on mainframe using COBOL VSE VSAM and CICS
- Good knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL)
- Ability to understand and maintain complex existing codebases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and structured working style.
- Good communication skills in German (Minimum C1)
