Join a dynamic international team at the forefront of product environmental compliance. You will be working in the Roche Pharma Environmental & Chemical Regulations internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the foundational structure of the MMTCAA teams global environmental compliance program. The intern will gain exposure to high-level strategic planning external policy analysis operational implementation challenges and digital solution integration within a critical regulatory domain.
The Intern will be mentored by senior experts while being given the latitude to drive specific initiatives including:
Compliance Framework Development: Support the definition and digital implementation of a standardized global environmental regulatory compliance oversight tool and documentation framework for the MMTCAA team.
Advocacy Support: Assist in monitoring global environmental regulations and contribute to the development of advocacy strategies to represent Roche Pharma interests effectively.
Regulatory Analysis & Impact Mapping: Gain an in-depth understanding of key global and regional environmental regulations to assess and document how they impact Roche Pharma operations and products
Oversight Program Implementation: Learn and apply principles for defining structuring and implementing robust regulatory compliance control mechanisms to ensure operational adherence.
Cross-Functional Engagement: Actively participate in projects involving Pharma Sites to ensure environmental compliance and other internal stakeholders to support regulatory implementation activities.
You are enrolled in or have completed (within the last 12 months) a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Environmental Regulations Law with a focus on Environmental Law or Regulatory compliance Chemistry or Chemical engineering (with knowledge of product regulations).
Ability to analyse complex regulations and regulatory guidance documents.
Highly organised and detail oriented.
Proactive self motivated to work independently and drive defined tasks to completion under guidance of buddy line manager SMEs (regulatory policy others).
Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate in English the compliance requirements.
Competency with Google tools AI data analysis and an aptitude for working with compliance tools.
The preferred start date for the internship is September 2026 duration: 12 months.
