Reporting to the Sr. Director Product Program & Retail this position is based at our Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center in Columbia. Support three key operational areasProduct Program Retail and Customer Careensuring a seamless experience for guests volunteers caregivers and the public.

  • Retail Responsibilities:

Supports the Girlz Gear Shop by monitoring and stocking inventory promoting merchandise and processing payments and donations with accuracy. Maintains a clean welcoming entrance area with professional displays and up-to-date materials. Leads mobile shops and Camp Trading Post events contributing to sales goals and providing excellent customer service. Requires a flexible schedule including some early/late hours and scheduled Saturdays during peak needs.

  • Customer Care Responsibilities:

Supports a high-volume Customer Care team by handling phone in-person and online inquiries; managing case assignments; and ensuring accurate data entry. Oversees event and program transactions including registrations cancellations transfers and refunds for trainings programs and camp. Processes payments and deposits from volunteers memberships donors and grants with accuracy and timeliness including occasional bank deposits.

  • Product Program Responsibilities:

As a team member contributes to Product Program operations including leading the seasonal cookie cupboard coordinating logistics maintaining accurate inventory and supporting troop distribution. Assists with financial tracking and reconciliation resolving discrepancies and gathering documentation as needed. Plays an active role in the Product Program team by helping field inquiries updating Salesforce cases and supporting customer service needs.

Requirements

What you bring to contribute immediately to the organization and team

  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  • At least five years of administrative project or program support experience; bilingual Spanish a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong math skills and consistent accuracy.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Demonstrates optimism empathy integrity and polished communication across phone email and in-person.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to assess needs and respond appropriately.
  • Flexible schedule that includes some early/late hours and scheduled Saturdays during peak seasons.
  • Active membership in the Girl Scout organization is required and may be obtained upon hire upholding the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
  • Must have reliable transportation possess a valid South Carolina drivers license maintain personal auto insurance meeting the council insurance companys requirement for coverage and submit to a background check.
