Job Title: QA Engineer (Automation Manual)

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer (Automation Manual) with a strong balance of automation and manual testing expertise. This role focuses on ensuring the quality stability and performance of our SaaS-based HRMS platform. The ideal candidate will take ownership of QA activities build reliable automation solutions and actively collaborate with development and product teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain automation test scripts using Java Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.

Actively perform manual testing including functional regression integration and exploratory testing.

Create and execute test plans test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications.

Identify log and track defects; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
-
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing using BrowserStack or similar tools.
-
Conduct API testing using Postman RestAssured or equivalent tools.
-
Support performance and load testing activities using JMeter or similar tools (good to have).

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.

Maintain QA documentation test reports and quality metrics.

Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices.
Required Skills & Experience

6 years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance.

3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java.
-
Strong manual testing experience with a clear understanding of QA fundamentals.
-
Proficiency in Java with good knowledge of OOP concepts.

Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG JUnit and Cucumber (BDD).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins Git Docker).

Hands-on experience in API testing.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong analytical communication and collaboration skills.
