Job Summary

Proxy Support Engineer: L3 Support

Location: Ahmedabad Mumbai

Diagnose and resolve intermediate proxy configuration policy or authentication configuration issues; collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain performance and security.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education - Masters degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent field experience

Experience - 5 years or more

CompTIA CCNP or CCIE certification preferred along with certifications on various Proxy technologies

Must have excellent written/oral communication and follow-up skills

Good troubleshooting skills related to Firewall Proxy & Network

Good Decision making & ability to deliver during soft and hard time

Strong knowledge about Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and other Zscaler features is preferred

Network/Firewall knowledge including reading traces from various network diagnostic tools (i.e. WireShark Fiddler etc.)

Experience with DLP policy configurations IPv6 and UTM

Familiar with SASE technology like SD-WAN ZTNA and CASB.

Responsibilities:

Design deploy and integrate proxy solutions (Zscaler Cisco CATO MacAfee Proxy and other similar products) ensuring technical alignment with infrastructure security and operational requirements

Preferred to have Knowledge of Load Balancer and QoS on Industry leading vendors

Collaborate with security and network teams to successfully deploy security solutions

Experience with complex troubleshooting techniques (e.g. debugging latency issues authentication issues and application functionality issues)

Excellent working knowledge of Application profiles URL filtering Cloud App control DNS policies SSL Inspection and control analysis Collaborate with vendors and support teams to resolve problems and future product enhancements.

Provide training and support to the L1/L2 members to ensure smooth operations and build the teams technical competency

Proactively identify need for improvements capacity changes and process enhancements

Follow best practices and interoperability when using PAC Files with Zscaler App PAC with GRE tunnels or IPSec Tunnels

Work with multiple clients with different architectureconfiguration simultaneously and guide the team as required

Participate in internal/external audits and technical reviews
