About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer - Automation with strong technical understanding and proven experience in industrial automation sales. The role involves complete sales cycle management including lead generation proposals customer coordination documentation and order closure.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new leads for Automation Solutions Laboratory Instruments AMC and Repair Services.
Prepare send and follow up on:
o Instrument offers
o AMC offers
o Spare quotations
o Payment follow-ups
o Invoice intimations
o Closing customer inquiries
Perform all required paperwork and documentation related to sales offers visits inquiries and order processing.
Conduct customer meetings field visits technical discussions and product presentations.
Promote PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions VFDs IIoT systems control panels and automation services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs EPCs integrators and end-user industries.
Coordinate with internal technical and service teams for solutions support.
Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
Maintain lead tracking sales pipelines and follow-up reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation Sales.
Good English communication (written reading and speaking).
Technical understanding of:
o PLC SCADA HMI
o VFD / Servo
o Lab & field instruments
o Modbus / Profibus / Ethernet / 4-20mA signals
Ability to prepare techno-commercial proposals BOQs quotes and documentation.
Strong negotiation presentation and customer-handling skills.
B.E. / in:
o Electronics & Communication
o Instrumentation & Control
o Electrical Engineering
o Or other relevant technical fields.
