Job Summary

Proxy Support Engineer: L2 Support

Location: Ahmedabad Mumbai

Diagnose and resolve intermediate proxy configuration policy or authentication configuration issues; collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain performance and security.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education - Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience

Experience - 3 years or more

Ability to read and interpret English-language documents.

Must have excellent written/oral communication and follow-up skills

Good troubleshooting skills related to Firewall Proxy & Network

Good Decision making & ability to deliver during soft and hard time

Knowledge about Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and other Zscaler features is preferred

Network/Firewall knowledge including reading traces from various network diagnostic tools (i.e. WireShark Fiddler etc.) Basic knowledge of IPv6 and UTM features.

Responsibilities:

Participate in architecture engineering design and deployment of proxy solutions (Zscaler Bluecoat Websense MacAfee Proxy and other such)

Working experience to define create and maintain proxy policies Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of proxy issues

Experience with PCAP capture and analysis

Experience with complex troubleshooting techniques (e.g. debugging latency issues authentication issues and application functionality issues)

Configure and maintain GRE Tunnels IPSec Tunnels NAT PAC files

Configuration of Application profiles URL filtering Cloud App control and DNS policies

Troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity and security policies

Collaborate with the client and TAC team to resolve problems

Strong knowledge on complex proxy solution designs which include SSL interception and content analysis

Good knowledge and working experience within a secure public cloud and integrating Private Access

Document and track client interactions issues and resolutions via email and ticketing tools

Follow best practices and interoperability when using PAC Files with Zscaler App PAC with GRE tunnels or IPSec Tunnels.

Troubleshooting performance issues connection status errors ZPA authentication errors browser access error codesWork with multiple clients with different architectureconfiguration simultaneously.
