Job Summary

Role Overview:

Position: QPC Head
Location: Calderys India Refractories Ltd Plot No. 89609-611 & 614 Village : Bhuinpur Tehsil : Begunia Dist : Khurda Odisha 752062 .
Budget: 20 LPA.

Core Requirements:

Education: or in Ceramic Technology/Engineering from a reputed Ceramic Institute.
Experience: Minimum 15 20 years of experience in a QA & QC role within a reputed Refractory industry.
Industry Focus: Strong experience in Refractory Monolithics or the brick industry is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of refractory testing mineralogy crystallography and phase diagrams.
Standards: Expertise in implementing ISO BIS ASTM DIN EN and API standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing quality assurance for raw materials in-process checks and finished products.
Conducting root cause analysis to reduce quality complaints and implementing corrective actions.
Supervising the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Training and mentoring the QA/QC teams to upgrade technical knowledge.
Conducting vendor audits and qualifying raw material suppliers.
