Job Summary

Introduction

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic OTC Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of sales representatives servicing independent and corporate pharmacies. The successful candidate will drive sales growth expand market share and ensure operational excellence within the OTC business unit.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage expenses in line with budget and forecasts
  • Develop tactical plans based on market data and insights
  • Motivate and coach team members to achieve success
  • Attract retain and develop top sales talent
  • Build strong sustainable customer relationships and loyalty
  • Monitor market share trends and deliver accurate forecasting & reporting
  • Achieve regional and divisional sales objectives

Minimum Requirements
  • Previous Regional Sales Manager experience will be advantageous
  • A tertiary qualification in Sales Marketing or a medical discipline will be advantageous
  • Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
  • Proficiency in Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of the Marketing Code of Conduct
  • Thorough knowledge of the South African pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record in OTC pharmaceutical sales (Schedule 02)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in independent and corporate pharmacy sales
